Christine Tyrrell, President/CEO of Tyrrell Software explaining TQAudit to NYHIMA Conference attendees
TQAudit was well received by the attendees of the New York Health Information Management Association (NYHIMA) conference in Rochester, June 11-12.
Many transcription companies and Health Information Managment personnel from various hospitals were very interested in this new software product, designed to help in the quality assurance process of transcription oriented organizations. Several of the conference participants expressed an interest in being considered for selection as an alpha site for the software. TQAudit is expected to be released as a commercial product in the Fall of 2007.
Tyrrell Software shared a booth with Reporters Transcription Center, which generously sponsored TQAudit's presentation at the Conference. RTC has been the inspiration and primary alpha site for the software since its inception.

Tyrrell Software will be exhibiting TQAudit at the New York Health Information Management Association conference in Rochester, June 10-13, in conjunction with Reporters Transcription Center.
Tyrrell Software and Reporters Transcription Center (RTC) are two Binghamton based companies whose collaboration during the past year has resulted in the TQAudit Transcription Quality Audit software package. These two companies are ideally suited to work together. RTC is the transcription subject matter expert and Tyrrell Software has the technology expertise.
Various generations of the TQAudit system have been in use at RTC since August, 2006. New features and functionality have been added incrementally since then, using the spiral software development methodology model. RTC has noted a marked improvment in their quality processes and outcomes as a result of using this software tool and Tyrrell Software has benefited from RTC's involvment in helping to define requirements and testing proof-of-concept, throughout the reiterative development process.
Tyrrell Software is now in the final stages of transformng the TQAudit software into a commercial software product to be used by any organization with a transcription focus. The NYHIMA Conference will be the first public demonstration of this siginifcant software package.
